Revvisor ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service at revvisor.com.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account or use our service:

• Account information: name, email address, and password
• Business information: business name, industry, advertising platforms used
• Marketing data: ad spend, revenue, sales figures you enter during weekly check-ins
• Communications: messages you send through the Revvisor chat interface

We do not collect or store your advertising platform credentials. All marketing data is entered manually by you.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the Revvisor service
• Generate AI-powered marketing insights and recommendations based on your data
• Send you weekly reports, analysis, and marketing initiatives via email
• Respond to your support requests
• Send important service notifications

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. AI processing

Revvisor uses AI technology (Anthropic Claude) to analyze your marketing data and generate insights. Your business data and check-in information is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in secure databases hosted by Railway (PostgreSQL). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.

While we implement strong security measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. On the Starter plan, check-in history older than 3 months is automatically deleted. On the Growth plan, all data is retained indefinitely.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@revvisor.com.

6. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic — AI analysis engine
• Resend — email delivery
• Railway — database and server hosting
• Vercel — website hosting

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data via your Account settings
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data upon request

8. Cookies

Revvisor uses only essential session storage (localStorage) to maintain your login state. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
